![]() ![]() ![]() Most want RA2 and Generals on Steam so they don't have to ♥♥♥♥ around with Origin. If you own a physical copy of Red Alert 2 (not 'The First Decade' version), installing the game from the disc no longer works on Windows 10. ![]() What is this, Stockholm Syndrome justification? I actually own two disc copies of Red Alert 2, and all those games in that collection. Step 1: Get Red Alert 2 and Yuri's Revenge You can now buy a digital copy of all 12 Command & Conquer games from the EA Origin Store. If you want to play RA2 I would suggest just making an Origin account and buying the C&C ultimate collection (around $20 for 9 games (17 games if you count expansions separately), each of which would have been ~$60 10-25 years ago). Not really any worse than Steam in any of the ways that matter (you can buy, download, and play games on it reliably). I got the complete collection of C&C games on Origin and my feeling is that it is a perfectly fine system. As convenient as it would be to have all my games centralized to a single profile such as Steam, it is probably not a good idea to let them have a completely unchallenged monopoly on game management. But this is probably a good thing come to think of it. Originally posted by Centurian42:It is a shame RA2 isn't available on Steam. ![]()
